| Family caregivers improve the lives of loved ones each and every day. We at Polk County Family Caregivers, Inc. commend them for their dedication and commitment. Family caregiving requires an immeasurable amount of patience, time, and money. Caregiving can and should be rewarding. Isolation needs to be replaced with empowerment and community. Understanding what resources are available will provide the family caregiver with a greater opportunity to enjoy their relationship with their loved one as they provide care. We, at Polk County Family Caregivers, Inc., provide advocacy and support to the 25,000 Polk County family caregivers to help them attain that goal. |
